Frequently Asked Questions

Not sure what to expect at the Haunt? Our FAQ will help you prepare for your visit.
Why does your church do a haunted house?

Restless Souls Haunted House Complex is West Hills United Methodist Church's annual fundraiser. West Hills UMC is an all-inclusive church with a highly diverse congregation, and every ticket purchased goes towards the refurbishment of our historic 175-year-old church. Proceeds from this year's haunt will fund both a chair elevator and a handicap-accessible parking lot. All of our actors and staff are volunteers.

What ages is Restless Souls appropriate for?

Restless Souls is appropriate for all guests. If you plan to bring younger children, you can request our "Family Fright Option" when purchasing your tickets to receive a toned-down experience of the attractions at no additional cost.

Will I be touched in the attractions?

No. None of the actors are permitted to touch you. Any touching that occurs would be accidental and due to dark conditions and small spaces or the people in your group trying to escape the terror. Likewise, we ask that you do not touch any of the actors or props unless instructed to do so.

Are the attractions indoors/outdoors?

Three of the four attractions are indoors or in an enclosed space with tenting. The Dark Colony attraction is an outdoor haunted trail through the woods so be sure to dress appropriately with proper footwear for outdoor activities.

Where are you located? Where should I park?

Restless Souls is located at 301 W. Hills Road in Huntington Station, directly across from Walt Whitman High School. Free parking is available both at the high school and at West Hills United Methodist Church.

Do you sell food and beverages?

We have both an indoor and outdoor concession stand with hot dogs, snacks, candy, and beverages available for purchase. No alcohol is permitted on the premises.

Are you open in rainy/snowy conditions?

Weather closings are on a case-by-case basis. In the event of a weather-related closing, we will make an announcement and notify anyone who purchased tickets online. All tickets can be redeemed any night the Haunt is open, so guests are free to visit another evening.

Do you offer refunds?

We are unable to offer refunds therefore all ticket sales are final. If you are unable to attend on the day you planned to, you may still use your tickets on any other night the Haunt is open.
